=JBourlett commissioned me to draw some Disney characters of my choice, anyway I wanted. Sword in the Stone is one of the unsung films in my mind. It has such great characters. And this image, of him reaching for the sword is probably the most memorable, so I just tried to make the scene my own. Since the character isn't as recognizable as some others, I tried to stay on model a bit more, but still have some of my own style in there.Inked in Illustrator.

Oh gosh, darlin... I wish I could crit ya but I think mirrorkills already swiped what I was thinkin. It's not distracting for me though... in all honesty, I think his off-balance suits the character! He's so gangly and unsure, y'know?

ok, since you have advance crit selected, im going to picky about his stance.. looks like wart's going to slip right off where he is.. he's barely making contact with any of the surface area..

yeah, I defintely wanted that feeling like he is off balance and reaching, but I think having some more weight on that knee would have helped, as well as placing that one hand onto the rock better...
