Description
A render I did last October and fiddled and polished for a while nowthe rendertime was 11 hrs 13 mins @ 3840x2400 in Terragen 0.9.19 postwork ~ 5 hrs here and then the last two months in PS CS 5
terrain created in Mojoworld and GeoControl2, atmo and surfaces based on my own presets, water with Terragen-plugin 'Euphotica'
went some thought into this

Hi lieber Chris,ich finde,daß du echt fantastische Sachen machst! Ich stehe auf alles,was ich von dir gesehen habe,besonders deine neuesten..
Ich würde das auch gerne können,aber ich weiß nicht wie.Wo bekommt man die Programme her,die dazu nötig sind? Ich habe bloß den alten Photoshop 7.
Ansonsten arbeite ich old fashioned mit Farben u.Pinsel.

Das freut mich aber grob, das dir auch meine neuen Sachen gefallen! Bei mir ist es genau umgekehrt - ich würd gerne mit Pinsel und Stift - vor allem Bleistift, da steh ich total drauf - zugange gehen, funzt aber nicht, da ich dabei leider zwei linke Hände habe...
Anscheinend strebt jeder nach dem, was er nicht hat bzw. kann; wobei es in deinem Fall viel einfacher wäre...
Die Programme, mit denen ich überwiegend arbeite, sind sehr alt - als erstes wäre Terragen zu nennen, mit dem ich den überwiegenden Teil meiner Roh-Renders mache, in der Uralt-Version 0.9.19 (nur zur Orientierung - aktuell ist V. 4.1.irgendwas; hab ich auch da, benütze es aber wenig und bisher nur zu Lernzwecken, da total andere UI und workflow) - die ich dir bei Interesse gern überlassen könnte...
Das Postwork findet dann in Photoshop statt - da hab ich mich immer Versionsmässig immer aktuell gehalten, bis die mit ihrer Clousoftware-Scheisse begonnen haben, weshalb bei mir immer noch CS6 was der Version 13.0 x64 entspricht, im Gebrauch ist; allerdings denke ich, dass die meisten Sachen, die ich dann mit den Roh-Renders anstelle, auch mit deinem PS7 machbar sein müssten.
Sicher bin ich mir dessen nicht, da ich mit dieser Version persönlich nie gearbeitet habe, bin bei CS1 eingestiegen...
Tja, und dann noch die Terrain-Software - da benutze ich GeoControl, was aber mittlerweile auch nicht mehr hergestellt wird allerdings hab ich da so viele Terrains vorrätig, dass da sicher auch was für dich dabeiwäre.
Wenn dir damit also Ernst ist, das können zu wollen, kann ich dir gern hilfreich unter die Arme greifen und die Mehrzahl der Anfängerfehler, die ich selbst und die meisten anderen gemacht haben, vermeiden helfen.
Schliess dich in dem Fall einfach nochmal kurz mit mir.
Und danke für das Lob - weitermachen tu ich auf alle Fälle, nur lad ich nur noch sporadisch was hoch hier, da das Feedback immer schlechter wird - zwar immer mehr Favoriten, dafür immer weniger Kommentare

I really enjoyed this work, but I can't keep my eyes off the stars and such that are within the crescent of the green (planet?). I wouldn't normally comment with something like this, but this really a very nicely done project, and I just feel the one flaw there seems to detract just a little from it.
Otherwise, great job!
