A render I did for the April-Terrain-Challenge over on Terranuts; it was done with the HDR-feature enabled and so this is a real HDRi-Image...Terrain made by Rids over on Terranut, all other settings my own; rendertime was 7 hrs 7 mins @ 3840x2400

I also have Terragen... what site would you recommend to learn HDR/lighting like this?

I can't recommend any site, cause I don't know one; but what you can do is to install the SO-pack (I talk about TG 0.9 here - just to be clear^^)| than go to the render-output-window and click camera-settings|click Effects and than the plus-sign|now enable the SO-HDR-Output|it asks where to save the HDR-Render...
Now you'll get two renders - a normal *.bmp-file and a *.hdr-file in the folder you specified; the *.hdr you can open in Photoshop CS 4 and above. You can work it over directly with Photoshop, but I prefer to use the HDR-Efex-Pro-Plugin by Nik-Software cause it gives the better results in my eyes. Should you choose to do the same you find on the Nik-Site good tutorials...
Another recommendation - experiment much with the Nik-Plugin - the possibilities are nearly endless!

A number of people suffering from schizophrenia tend to create images with reflection ie photo's etc. I think a psychologist friend mentioned it to me, dont know how true it is though.
