Description
The daily night-wind blows the sand from the heart of the desert to places, where no desert was before. Now one more former green valley is occupied by the sandy desert, although one can see rests of green grass on the borders...On this one I worked a pretty while; yesterday I found time to make it ready.
Terrain is 'Sanatana' -> [link]
rendertime was 11 hrs 58 mins in 5760x3600res, postwork ~45 mins - setup insane long in that case
DL-size is 1920x1200
Maybe I'll add some full-res detailshots later, if anyone interested...
Hope you like it.
Thanks for viewing and commenting.

You can find one here -> [link]
anotherone here -> [link]
here a thirdone -> [link]
and a lastone, with a little gimmick added, here -> [link]
To be honest, the lastone is same as the third, beside the gimmick

Based on the title alone I felt like this was something to be protested lol, but this is a very nice picture, I like how the valley on the side has grass in it still, and the image is very vivid at least for me it is, and the view overall is just fantastic, this is something to be admired

I love this piece, but maybe that's because i'm a fan of barren-land like terrains
This is from now on my desktop wallpaper, thanks
I'd really like some more detail shots.

Late reply? I didn't even see this at first. Then again, sometimes dA even lets me get my messages. Its strange. It did ok until I got high speed. Go figure. Lol. You're very welcome!

The sand looks good, but it is the addition of the vegetation, rock, and dirt that really makes it complete. Really good surface work and a perfect adaptation to this terrain.

Well, out of curiosity, what did the original look like?
Oh and one other question, how did you mannage to get everything to crisp along with a clear atm?
Did you have haze density at 0 and a low densitys on everything else in the atm?

Much thanks - although I don't know what 'dayumn' exactly means, cause English isn't my first language... I just can guess it's kinda 'wordplay' - but maybe you'll enlighten me.

oh -- ok -- dayumn is an extreme version of the word "damn!" it means something like "your work is so absolutely awesome and stunning all I can do is just say "damn!" in amazement.
Hope this "translation" helps!
