Great piece of art.
I must say, when I first saw this through the RWBY group, posted by Nick, I was impressed at the depiction of the talking tree holding them both.
I know this might be completely unrelated, but: back in high school, when we were analyzing texts and passages of Dante's Inferno in our Italian literature class, we went over the ring of suicides: those who have sinned by throwing away the gift of life were punished accordingly, by acquiring the shape of living trees to suffer eternally at the hand of the Harpies, half bird, half human abominations that would rip and tear at their branches and leaves, making them bleed and causing these poor souls to scream.
Now, I'm aware that it is very far fetched to replace Virgilio and his traveling partner with Weiss and Blake, but I just think this fits so perfectly, since they both have enough in depth understanding of human emotions to sympathize with these damned souls.
Either way... Ignore my rant. I just meant to convey how much this drawing impressed me.
