Description
The Spider Scythe.
Contrary to its appearance and namesake, it is in no way venomous. However, it does have a certain thaumaturgical potential, in that it functions as both a Reaver's scythe and a magician's staff. The crystal on the head of the scythe, split in half to allow room for a gear that rotates the blade open and shut, is made of Dragicite, a magical synthetic crystal formed by alchemical processes using dragon blood. It does not have a specific function by itself, but when handled by a magic user, amplifies the power of spells.

The scythe blade is made of ordinary steel colored with heat, and painted with glowing elements. Makes for a good torch in dark caves where air is thin and torches are countereffective. Also rather handy in striking fear in ones opponents.
