Description
Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon. I love that movie, and decided to make a Toothless polymer clay figure - so i thought, why not make a tutorial too?Apologies for my appalling handwriting, i hope you can read it. I just find it easier to handwrite tutorials, than to use text.

How do you take the pictures and put it up like that? Really curious.

So i have a pretty standard digital camera (canon ixus 70, if you are interested) and it has a digital macro setting, which i use in all the photos. Then i grab some greaseproof (baking) paper to put the clay on, because this is a nice background, and get a lamp so it's nice and bright, and just take the pictures at each of the main stages of making the creature. Then when i'm done i put them in photoshop and copy and paste them into the tutorial, put them in order and then write the instructions using my graphics tablet.
