Atoya and Truly followed the bloody trail with the wild down the mountain and onto the massive glacier that snaked its way between the mountain range. The sheer volume of blood that had been spilled was alarming to say the least. Whatever had lost it most certainly had died.

The wild seemed distressed by the scent, causing the handler to worry that it might be the blood of a Tokota though she could not know if it was wild or domesticated until they found it. Their search came to an abrupt halt as the trio came to a small flow of melt waters running along the glacier. Whatever had been bleeding had come across the obstruction and made a right as made clear by the spots of blood with paw prints half filled with snow.
