In an instant Atoya was on her back, snow wedged in her sleeves as she scrambled back from the wild. Diagrams entire demeanor shifted and his lips were pulled back to bare fangs with his tail raised. He stiffly stalked closer to the wild who bore her fangs back at him in response. The only sounds that filled the handler's ears were the wind and a chorus of the Tokotas' warning growls. Trying to think quick, she raised a hand to the wild. "Wait, wait, Diagrams sh!" She rasped but their eyes remained frozen on each other. A fight was inevitable.
