Atoya's action went unappreciated as the wild stopped mere feet from her hands with the skin on her muzzle wrinkling in a snarl. From her peripheral, the young handler saw Diagrams take a step forward with his head raised a little higher. The tension was tangible as she tried her best to show in both body language and words that she simply wanted to bond with the wild.

"O-Okay." Atoya stammered, hoping to prevent a fight. "I just want to be your friend - er, well, handler but we'll work our way to that." She rambled but as she took her next step she realized she may have pushed the wild's comfort a little too much.
