Thank you! I wish I had more of her,
but I can find one to add here,
from when she was in her early 20s...
Haven't I shown you a few of her?

Β No! You didn't! I love what I watched on the pict "Mother & kids"..
Β Your visage here is exactly what made me think to the "PΓ’tre Grec"... Did you understand what I meant?

I did 2 or 3 drawings from your father's face. He reminds me someone I'm unable to
Β identify.
Β There is an evident correspondence between your look here, and the one of your "frontispiece" picture. That's what I would like to catch on the paper...Β

Of course I would be most interested in your drawings
of my Dad... when you get a chance to take photos...
I did one drawing from this photo...some time ago...
....when I was able to draw... and somehow found the time
...I've always been slow at some things....

Β Was your hair so thick an dark? I imagine Michelangelo sculpting David's hair with yours as model... If I had had the opportunity of meeting you at this time, I'm sure I would have made a good portrait of you...

...damn... another of your comments missed, and just now discovered!!
...notice how certain aspects of youthfulness are....wasted on the young??
i.e., plentiful dark hair ! ... but grey started to appear in just a few more years...
...the hair mostly stayed...unlike M & my Dad, whose hair departed by their late 30s....
I was too arrogant then for such artfulness as portraits...the older persona definitely
deserves more portraiture in comparison!! ...and you? ...no portraits from your late 20s or thereabouts?

I just discovered your comment - how could
I have missed it???
I am the only male on the paternal side
to have kept hair....
At this age, you may not have wanted to
approach what I think was a difficult person....
...but thanks!

Β When I read "Β SIDNEY ORR, IT/ Databases /Finance/Fine art " on Google, I think that you were the most interesting, multiple person, in all senses of the term! I'm sure I would have enjoyed to approach such an individual. Who's perfect?
Β You should abandon your habit to miss most of my comments!

Silly....Of course, I never intentionally do that!
I have always loved your comments!
And, I have thought for some time,
that we two may be the most literate/communicative
people/friends/couple on DA!!!

Β I hoped that you would talk that way...
Β I can do without any comment on DA, except yours. So few are really interesting!

.... I'm sure he knew more than I ....!
Mark Twain was right...
..."had" a fulll head! It got a little thinner....
.. frankly I can't believe I ever looked like that!
If your mom and dad are around,
be happy!
happy thanksgiving!
best
Sid
