Notes:

So I came up with this idea when it was pointed out by a friend, that Pure Water’s description in Engage was reworded to now read “Bonus shrinks by 1 per turn.” The joke then was that you could rename Alear in Engage, so if you named her Bonus, then it would shrink her every turn. Silly joke, I know.

Anyways, I thought “yeah, I could do that.” and decided to try and make a really quick animation based off of it. I actually timed myself, and aside from rendering and editing (which didn’t take very long), it took me just over 2 hours to complete this. It’s certainly far from my best work, but in terms of something quick that I wanted to make, it’s not too bad.

I’d say this actually looks somewhat similar to some of my older animations in terms of style. I think it’s due to how Alear doesn’t have as many keyframes, so her movement doesn’t look quite as smooth as I would have her be now. She also doesn’t really interact with anything once she shrinks, it’s mostly just her shrinking. She gets a lot smaller in this animation than I usually shrink characters to. I think she goes to like .002x, which is super tiny. I usually shrink characters to .05x.

Anyways, uh, there’s not really much to say about this animation. It was just something I wanted to make. Hopefully I’ll have something bigger out soon.
