Story:
Weiss’s dust ejector in her rapier malfunctions during training and instead of spitting a blast of energy at her imaginary foes, she accidentally freezes herself inside a block of solid ice. Ruby and the rest of her team should be along soon enough to help thaw her out. Until then looks like she’s living up to her nickname.

Notes:
Yeah, I’ve kinda stopped writing stories by this point if you couldn’t tell. It’s kinda lame when the whole thing just says the exact same thing that the animation communicates.

So this is a bit of a different type of animation for me. I’ve done one that used the same techniques, basically just being a glass statue of Zelda, but this is the first time I’ve done an animation with it. And I’m quite happy with how it came out. The sword stuff that she does before she freezes looks pretty nice and smooth, and after she’s frozen I really like her pose and how she moves her eyes and face a bit. It adds a lot more flair to the animation so it’s not just empty frames. This is sort of a pun with Weiss having a lot of relations to ice such as her powers, her color, even her last name, Schnee, translates to Snow in German. I mean, she’s just begging for this type of animation.

Also wow, motion blur really helps alleviate the issue of the gifs of these giving me intense motion sickness every time the camera spins. Don't get me wrong, it's still a bit vomit inducing at 10FPS, but less so.
