I believe InuYasha had agreed simply because he never received this schpiel himself, and therefore is pretending to lecture, when he is actually learning an embarrassing lesson from his big brother. XDD Love it!!

lollol at the carrion crow (bird). your pieces have made me excited about reading "unspoiled". It looks like a great story line with many hilarious and heart wrenching bits. As soon as I'm finished reading "The One And Future Taiyoukai" I'll start this one

Oh, 'The Once and Future' is MARVELOUS! It was one of the first stories I ever read, and I love it to bits!!! Good choice! And you'll definitely have a wonderful time reading Ms. Forthright's stuff, too!

HAHAH. OMG the best part of this picture is definitely Sesshomaru's and Hisoka's face. After reading the lastest chapter (and rereading when Kagome is sent to the "future past") it makes me want to see much more Hisoka. I love anything you do Hisoka.

I know. Especially since you can see that he totally loves her in the same way that Sesshy does. But Sesshy loves her more. I think that if Hisoka had the chance to take Kagome for himself, he so would. Which is rather cute. And I love the fact that he is sacrificing his feelings for Kagome's happiness. And his wellbeing. LOL.

All I'm gonna say is, Sess is MIGHTY lucky all these youkai take claims so seriously. Just because someone says, "I saw her first, she's mine!" everyone else stays away. In the real world, every guy would be out to get the girl for himself!

Oh man. I KNOW! You would think too that because they are demons, they would do whatever was "demon"ly possible to get the girl that they are chasing after. I mean, Sesshy is already having issues with Inuyasha staking his claim "first". And to be honest, Sess is a little hypocritical here. I mean... Technically Inu had his claim to Kagome first. In Kagome's eyes, which is all that matters. In Inu's and Sess's life, Sess did. It's a very very fine and interesting line and all depends on the way you look at it.

Although there is a tiny bit of evidence in the manga that shows that InuYasha knows more than he lets on about such things, it's LOVE that confuses the hell out of him.... He was definitely "behind the door" when they passed out knowledge on either subject!

I definitely agree with that last part--he's clueless. Although, I've always thought he acts more like a 12 year-old than a teen. And that thought fits in pretty well with Ms. Forthright's story: if inuyoukai don't really "mature" till after they're 300, Inuyasha hasn't reached that point yet. Didn't Sess say he's in his late 200's (if you don't count the tree-pinned years)? So he's really a prepubescent boy...

RT said that IY's emotional age is 15 just like Kagome's. Sesshoumaru's emotional age is 19.

When I looked at the problem of IY's aging, I used the canine aging curve and superimposed it over his apparent physical age and his chronological age of 150 (not counting "sealed years". That makes him plenty physically mature, but because of his rough upbringing, his emotional maturity is sorely lacking. He does know what sex is about, but is clueless about love and relationships, at least according to the sparse clues within the manga-canon. However, within Forthrightly's story, he is more like a petulant just-post-teen who is more concerned with being RIGHT than forging lasting relationships.
Forgive me if this is not coherent...I worked 12 hours yesterday without break helping a friend clean a hoarder's house and I'm bloody exhausted and not firing on all cylinders yet.... Need me another nap....XDXD

You were right on the being beat part. I spent much of saturday just wrung out and hung up to dry. I go to her house again soon to help her sort what she's already rescued. She has the most amazing collection of stuff we found there too. One in particular was a handwritten document from a slave owner freeing a slave by the name of Rose. The top of my head came off. Ignoring the fact that one of her own relatives was the former slave owner, the document alone could fetch a LOT of money. I think some of her items really belong in a museum....
Amazing to think how much trash she had to dig through to rescue them....
