I really do have to learn how to whistle through a computer, I just do it so much with things like this in real life, there has to be a way to do it here.
I Love it! To be honest I really didnt notice the problem with the original all that much, at least until I saw this one. I love the idea behind this too, great imagination.

Oh yeah - and I never used hue/sat, cuz i never saved it as layers...
I just created a new layer and then used the pen tool to colour in the areas I wanted green and then went into blend mode and turned down the opacity!!

My art teachers all burned color theory and garbage like that into my brain. There wasnt as much personal style involved as i would have liked, and i didnt like how my stuff would be marked by a teacher who hated technology. Thus, i no longer take art.

Art teachers know nuffin!! Noel Coward (or it could've been Oscar Wilde, but I'm sure it was Noel Coward...) once said: "Those who can do, those who can't, teach" That is quite often true about art teachers... not all, mind, but a fair few...

Sadly, I would have to strongly agree with that.

Hardly any art teacher I know has embraced technology either. We didnt even do photography or anything like that at my school. HELL i was using water colors in 2nd year! the kind I used when i was like 6, and they sure looked like a six year old was using them. We painted on newsprint paper, that was garbage. Yeah, now I remember why I dropped it. I finished it to the end of the year with like, a 54.

yeah - i did art at school... but I much prefer doing my own thing... it's like when you study English and hafta read what the teacher tells you to read, I'd much rather read what I want!!

Thats exactly why i hate english. There is so much constriction to what you are to do in assignments, that I find it hard to believe people get marks differing by over %40 in some places. All they look for is the arrangement and including of certain words to prove a point. I do not believe in essays as a means of persausive argument. Its much too formal.
Praise freeform art!!

Yeah I used to think colour theory and the rule of thirds was just bs. Now that I've used it, I can see that its not!
