Description
I HAVE NO MORE SPACE!Sometimes I'm asked who taught me to draw.
The world around me, taught me to draw.
There are hundreds of other things that gave me inspiration to draw. Music the first thing, listening is experience, emotion, passion. Singing, too. Anyway, there I tried to put together all anime, manga and artist who inspired me from the very first time I have known them.
You can see they're all light things, cute and simple. I'm not the type for violence, blood or very adult things.
I'm a light low artist. ^^
-Pokémon. Don't laugh. They've gone hand in hand with my childhood, when I used to stay at home in the afternoon, watching tv and cartoons. Italian openings were the best, I loved to sing them. The episodes were fantastic. From the 3rd series, they became boring, flat and blank, Italian op and endings too. Blah.
But I started drawing them at the Primary School, around 4-5 yrs old. I remember once I copied Mewtwo on a sheet, I was in class, it came sooo good! I was proud of that drawing, then a classmates took it and saying "Where is his mouth? You didn't draw the mouth!" he drew an enormous, horrible big red mouth on the poor Mewtwo face. It was one of my childhood traumas, haha!
-Cardcaptor Sakura. Definitly my favourite cartoon when I was at Elementary School. I owned a yellow-pink Sakura schoolbag that I kept during all the 5 years of school. I think it was broken so I got rid of it. I had even the Carnival costume (like a cosplay), the sceptre (damn it was such a fantastic pink thing!) and a big Kero-chan peluche. At Middle School I bought the manga: it was even better than the anime. I couldn't believe it.
-Naruto.It started at the 2nd year of Middle School, 12 yrs, a friend lent me a tankobon in class, the 16th number of "Naruto" of Masashi Kishimoto. Then, that summer, I went across the first episode on tv. It was love at first sight. I love the style, the plot, the main ideals of friendship and peace, even if it's a shonen. And the backgrounds. Even if probably mister Kishi's a lot of assistants that do all his work... I discovered Kitsunes and other creatures. A new world for me.
-Beyblade. Another cartoon in the usual weekly afternoon. I was pretty in love with Kai Hiwatari, cold and strong. The classic cool one. Third series, more cool. I was drooling, haha! I had a blue beyblade, Seaborg, the whale. So weak. I've always lost against my friend at the park on the beyblade ring, phew. What a shame...
-Ravenskar. Just, see her gallery. Purely awesome. Like the WIW(What I Wore) series. Plus, I'm tall (short) like her. I wish I could weigh like her X.X
-Fashion and clothes. Lookbook, shops, newspapers, magazines. I love clothes, and what I like (and doesn't fit me) I put it on my characters. I want them always well dressed. Sometimes I wanna be a bit taller to wear the clothes I fancy, but that's the life =.="
-Peather. My best friend ever. I've met her in Middle School, and we were just friends, comic artists, co-workers, rivals. We had arguments and times when we thought our bond was ended. It wasn't so. After 5 years, we're more linked than ever. We learned what's a true friendship. Even now I have my eyes sparkling when i talk of her, and no more for sadness and anger. For pure joy. Hope she will reach her dream, a good job with horses. She's a fantastic rider. And a fantastic person.
She's my Yin, and I'm her Yang. See my gallery for the character of our old comic ^^
-Acaraluv. Discovered on Neopets when I was around 10 years old... Her style captured me, and when she was younger than now, I remember she was pretty good for her age. I liked her kittens, and I started drawing in her style. Now I managed to use it well, it's become my own style too. It's different from her, but she really was one of my main inspiring muse. Luv ya, Jane
-Losmios. When Peather attached me her love for horses, I started drawing them. Mia Bengtsson has fantastic works in her gallery, "Daughter", "Stream", "The Spell Of Dawn", "Aerial Supernova", "Dunes"... Oww, they're just too many! With her, I fancy and
-Ladygt93. It has begun some years ago with my request: "Would you do a collab with me?". I've just started drawing Naruto and humans and my works were horrible, so I hoped she could accept the same. I couldn't believe she was Italian like me, and she was just an year older. We became friends. This year I've met her in Rome when she was on a school trip. She's a wonderful person, like her twin sister. Hope to see her again. But we have facebook, msn and skype, so it doen't matter a lot. I've learned a lot from her: she gave me the push to improve myself to reach her level.
PS: At the end, that collab remained a wandering project ahah.
-The BlackBlood Alliance. by and They stopped drawing it for the moment, but I loved the plot, the drawings, the background, the characters, just ALL, like a lot of other people around the world. Read it. It's the best comic EVAH. The style influenced me, too. It's beautiful and clean. Woah.
-Maximum Ride, the manhwa. I've finished to read the first book, bought by chance in a library (it's awesome, I spend just 2 days to read it) 'cos I was searching for an angel story. Then, in the comic shop, I saw THIS: the manhwa version of the book. Drawings, linearts, screentones. All just perfect. Buy it buy it BUY IT!
I have to lend the 2nd comic to a classmate of mine. He loves it too ^.^
-Meago. Magnificent comic artist and brilliant worker. Her work is so...so... bright! She uses the light in a wonderful way. She draws a lot, too! I wish I could draw faster as her. Just a mith. Love Emily =3
-Chocolate Cosmos by Nana Haruta. I'm not so much for shoujo, they're too like fantasy for my heart LOL. But I love the style and the pages, I cannot see mistakes in his drawings. The screentones are well put, too. The style is not particular or remarkable, but I've begun to draw a lot similar to hers. The eyes are SPECTACULAR.
Ps: I was a fan of the SayukixYushi couple. I don't like teacher-student love stories >.<"
-Bakuman. The manga who push me and my sempai to draw more and more and more. We must become awesome, just like the main characters, two mangakas like us, Mashiro and Takagi. Mashiro is so cool *ç* Ok, Beppe, I'm Mashiro and you're Takagi, ok? And we'll become the best mangakas in the world and we'll bring our comic to the Shueisha!
I'm dreaming? Nope, but please finish our name soon xD
-Life and people around me. Apart of Peather, there are all my friends, who support me, music, books, nature who ispires me, people and landscapes so inspiring that I NEED to draw them. (If you, "Nithael", are reading this, you know, you're just inspiring too, it's just this and no more U.U Eccheccavolo, oh.) But mangas are in real life too, aren't there? Here's me and my friend Virginia making some kage-bunshin-no-jutsu-techniques. LOL my stupid face.
THANK YOU GUYS! FOR ALL!
Ops...I really wrote a bunch of useless things. I'm sorry! ^-^"
