As much as I think Mothra would be better off with Gamera, I am loving all these humorous Godzilla / Mothra shipping pieces, as well basic love-hate interactions between them.
And although I doubt Mothra will appear proper in an actual US Godzilla film (a little like 'Robin' in Nolan's Batman films, and yes, I know what I just wrote there), it's still true about her constantly popping up in these films. Her, and that one random Giant Octopus!

Actually, I was referring to Oodako; the giant crimson colored octopus separate from Gezora, that popped up in "King Kong vs Godzilla",Β "Frankenstein Conquers the World", "War of the Gargantuas", and a lot of Japanese picture books back from the 1960's.
As well as the prop being reused as Sudar, for an episode "Ultra Q".

Shame they're actually too expensive. Gareth Edwards did confirm that for this new Godzilla trilogy by Legendary studios, they're going to be doing all original Kaiju.

I remember Mothra as being good, in a sense. I mean, yeah, she's fought Godzilla and has even destroyed shit when she deemed it necessary for the greater good. But she's also fought along side Godzilla (as well as Rodan) to take on King Ghidorah. Maybe if she's in the sequel, she and Godzilla could team up once more. :3

Not fair, Mothra didn't appear in the movie they were just stupid fucking M.U.T.O.S, that pissed me off. 
But they said that they were parts that the Mothra twins were seen or something like that.
In my opinion, in another more years, another GODZILLA movie may could come, and mothra will be in that one...I'm pretty sure about that.

In all seriousness, given the setting the film left us off with, I do think that Mothra and Rodan wound be the easiest to adapt to the setting, with Angirius coming in a very, very distant third. Ghidorah, Gigan, and Mechagodzilla would be a far harder fit. But nonetheless, if there is any one for that should get a shot at the four star treatment, there is only one choice-all hail the king.
