HAVE SOME LANNISTERS AND STARKS!!! (BUT MOSTLY STARKS)This is what they look like in my brain, since I've been reading the books. I started with the show, watched til' season 4 then I stopped because I got the books. So I was reading for almost a year trying to get through all the stuff I already knew, now I'm eating up the stuff I haven't seen yet, so don't tell me anything about the most recent season please! I am sooooo enjoying the books. Non-readers are seriously missing out. George RR Martin closes a million plot holes that the show leaves. THEY DON'T EVER TALK ABOUT RHEGAR AT ALL!!!! HE'S IMPORTANT! AND SO MANY MANY THINGS! THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THEY JUST AVOID! SO MANY CHARACTERS! SO MUCH PLOT IS IGNORED FOR TRIVIAL MEANINGLESS SEX SCENES!!! GIVE ME THE FECKN PLOT!!! So yea, I love this book series a lot.
Jon Snow is still hot af.
Arya is still badass af.
Bran is still precious af.
Sansa is still naive af.
Tyrion is still sorely mistreated af.
And everyone thinks the other is dead, if they don't happen to be dead (because yes, most of them are freaking dead).
Everyone else is basically dead or being a basic bitch. (lookin' at you Cersei)

Those are magnificent. I love how they are so simple that you could animate them easily but have just enough beautiful little details of line that each has a distinct personality. And for those I still have a clear memory of are easily identifiable. Can really tell you have been studying these characters a lot lately.
I so hope you end up an animator some day. Or if not that character design and story-boarding in preparation for the animators to do their thing. You give good soul. Its easier to see the Likeness of God in us "mere" humans when someone like you does their creative thing with art.
Two most common diseases in the TV show: Assaholism and a sudden fatal case of Death. All living characters are in the slow tortuous process of succumbing to one or the other. Accept maybe the one guy. He seems to have found a temporary cure all in having his wee wee wacked off. I doubt he could sell it to the others though. (the "cure" not his... you know... )
But I do love TV Tyrion so. Even when he is being a weak dumb ass he is doing so for all the right reasons. And the saddest part is he's so smart if you look in his eye while he's being a weak dumb ass you can tell that HE KNOWS he is but as one of the few truly good and noble people in the show he can't seem to help himself when it comes down to it. He looked that world in its ugliest of faces and somehow came out... beautiful inside? Underneath all the defenses anyway. IF the books ruins that I don't want to read it. He's the best reason for sticking the TV series out.
Though Arya is good clean/dirty fun that I find very therapeutic. So far anyway. I think she is changing fast so we will see if she remains our Batman character in training (an anti-hero of action who does dark things for the purest of reasons cause there is a tarnished golden heart under there buried just deep enough for her to still be effective and friggin scary to the would be monsters out there...)
Is it technically "ignoring" if they did in knowingly on purpose for commercial reasons?
How does this not get more comments than your AOT fanworks? Does AOT have a more rabid fan base on DA then GOT? That doesn't seem possible with all the hype out there over the last several years. (heh, good comparison now that I think about it. Lots of similarities between the two if you take out all the sex [giant walls, murderious humanoid things beyond the walls, casual application of sudden death, asshats a plenty doing stupid things like the more serious issues don't exist, etc... ]. AOT having very little sex unless you count SKINNED boobies. Though this is the internet and I know there is a shrine to the giant flayed bags of fat out there somewhere.... )

What do you mean "Its easier to see the Likeness of God in us "mere" humans when someone like you does their creative thing with art."?
If ANYTHING, Peter Dinklage made Tyrion come ALIVE. He plays the part masterfully. Jaded, snarky, and utterly precious, he is still one of the best characters in the books. Peter Dinklage totally rocks that roll and you only get to hear the things going through his head as he does them in the book. I don't know how Mr. Dinklage did it, but he did. They're totally the same character.
Arya is way more badass in the books. She's less of a "JUSTICE" sort of hero and more of a "REVENGE MOTHERFUCKERS" character in the book. After reading what I have on her character, I would never compare her to Batman. Batman has a rule about killing that Arya seriously lacks. She's become a cold blooded killer. In the book, she kills a lot of people. And when she gets the chance to personally slay a guy who's name she repeats every night before sleep, SHE DOES SO MERCILESSLY. She has the makings of a serial killer aside from the fact that the thing that drives her is vengeance rather than some psychotic need. She is utterly remorseless in her vengeance. She's scary. Sometimes its strange to think that it was her love for her family (and her super honorable father) that ultimately sent her down a path of continuous murders.
*shrugs* I think that they are two different fan bases with two different age demographics. The AOT crowd is probably a little more ravenous with support for fan art because a lot of fan art isn't that great. ASOIAF is more aimed at adults, who in having more years, have more experience and techniques in art. It tends to be a little better...

Eeer? Did I accidentally say something unpleasant? It sounded good in my head as a compliment. (still does??)
I think when you are a person of the small persuasion you have to work your ass off to get serious acting jobs that don't play off your size in some way.(in a way unpleasant if your mom saw it... ) When you do finally impress people so much that serious film makers accept you as a casting possibility you come across two kinds of roles (3 really since becoming mildy famous will quadruple the amount of those aforementioned "embarrassing" roles) the first are those that have been rewritten to include your genetic condition as an important factor and the second are those where only the most minor alterations are made where absolutely necessary to include your condition. Both are probably annoying in their own way to someone who would prefer to stretch and grow their skills as a normal actor would. I imagine coming across a role written from the ground up to include his condition and explore not only it but all the normal hues of the human rainbow in detail must have seemed like a greatest godsend of his career. He's throwing everything he has at it. The fact that his antagonist for the first part of the series, his father, is played by a seasoned, and in my opinion pretty damned talented, character actor playing a type of character he has already excelled at in the past really helped Tyrion shine.
I reached for the most popular "Anti-Hero" of that type I could get to quickly. There aren't tons of references I know by heart that I'm absolutely SURE you'd get. Like Spawn is an anti-hero that kills and has some serious issues but I wouldn't expect young ones to know him that well. But really the heart of Batman is fairly monstrous internally and the only reason he doesn't kill is because he was born in a comic book age where the unwritten rules didn't allow for true "anti-heroes" to exist yet. Certainly no protagonist that kills was allowed. Anyway, you touched on what I was figuring was happening to her. They just hadn't gotten all the way there yet in the seasons I had watched to date. Compared to all the constant immorality EVERYWHERE in this show just having a "pure" motive like vengeance for those you love made her different. Everybody else gets pretty confused pretty quick...

You're over thinking it. Its just a compliment saying your art reminds me of something God does. An likeness of Him as it were.
