hehe, when i first saw this i got a little worried that i would be feeling a bit guilty...phew... the only thing i do wrong is the speeeling. that would be my lack of typing skills...sad day. very funny, and i like the scribblies...*y'know, it'd be totally ironic if you put critique discouraged on this one^^*

VERY nice, and funny tutorial you've made lilmissmaya, I really agree with what you've said. It's also a really clever 'tutorial', being both informative, and very funny. I'm not very much of a big or popular artist at deviantART myself, but when it comes to the comments I recieve, I can seriously say - many of those people (who attempted to comment on my work) could learn a few things from this. Regarding the actual presentation itself, nicely done, although a minor problem could be some of your spelling (no offense >_> ), it's probably best to copy and paste your words from Microsoft Word (using the spellchecker beforehand) then into the piece, regardless that's not a very big problem at all. The background is very cool, I especially like the skull and cross bones.
Great tutorial! I'm sure people will learn from this.
heh yeah... my spell is pretty bad. I should copy and paste next time, I hadn't thought of that! I'm actually very mildly dyslexic (but not as bad as my mom or my brother) but it's a bad excuse XD
I'm glad you like it, I took what I've heard from other artists and slapped it together to make a point to someone else.

Really, if your going to comment it doesn't take that much energy to make it a good comment D: The longer a comment it the more time a person spent on looking at something, unless they are truely at a loss for words.

so true. eventually I should make a new version adding a few things like "don't write comments less then 5 words" and "read the first page of comments to make sure you arn't repeating what has been said ad naseam"

haha yeah. I'm glad I don't get repeatitive comments xD;; often anyway. I try to say something different to catch the eye of the artist, since I like conversation, and i like art. And if i like something enough to comment on it, i try to make it somewhat meaningful ._.;;

This is really great, but you forgot one. No comment annoys me more than the 'Cool' comment, and that's ALL THAT'S THERE!!! It drives me NUTS! I don't mind so much if someone looks at it and says 'it's cool', but I'd like to know WHY they think it's cool. That way I keep doing whatever it is right >.<
But seriously though, there are several people off of Fanfiction.net who need to come read this before they go and write reviews on stories. I mean, they offer spell checking in reviews and half the people don't even USE it >.<; That's right, lousy, hard-to-read comments abound in every place that comments are an option XD I'm going to pass this around, maybe some people who need it will see it XD

I think the funniest thing about that comment is that...all the people on fanfic are writers, or trying to be writers....and they can't spell right in their critiques..... i dunno, it just cracks me up.
