Description
This is especially for , inspired by her latest delicious piece of fanfiction, in which Jareth tricks a grown-up Sarah into giving him ten hours in which to make her wish she'd never rejected him. It has YET to include a scene like this, but hopefully will soon, before my head explodes. So far it's been like nine chapters of posturing and maddening verbal foreplay.I was going to ink and color this, but I really like how it turned out in the sketch, so it stays.
Inspired by the lyric, feathers on my breath, from Massive Attack's "Teardrop". (Hear also the exquisite cover by Jose Gonzales.)

You know, a friend of mine was saying how sex in art anymore looks so painful, like the partners aren't really enjoying themselves. But sex is so excellent and sweet and fun, and this, the way it's presented in the story, is especially good---a slow, delicious escalation. I wanted it to look the way it feels.

I'm sure in the absolute climax we look horribly pained/funny (eeep, I know I do!), but the actual experience itself is sweet, sensual, and smooth. that should be what the art communicates- wouldn't what the viewers getting the wrong idea about sex now would we?

Now, I completely understand the entire piece. Wow. I finished the entire film and now, deep down inside, I'm cheering and hoping, that at some point in her life, Sarah will just break down and let dear Jareth take a hold of her and sweep her off her feet.

Every time you post one of these, my toes curl harder and harder into my feet. CLEARLY, I need to go find this wonderful fiction so that I may continue with my crotch implosion.
The composition, in particular, is one of the most effective parts of this piece. The intensity of the vignette is magnified by the tension of one focused area and lots of white space. Daaaaaamn.

This piece has such wonderful composition. I really love the feather idea as well.
