Description
This is especially for , inspired by her latest delicious piece of fanfiction, in which Jareth tricks a grown-up Sarah into giving him ten hours in which to make her wish she'd never rejected him. It has YET to include a scene like this, but hopefully will soon, before my head explodes. So far it's been like nine chapters of posturing and maddening verbal foreplay.I was going to ink and color this, but I really like how it turned out in the sketch, so it stays.
Inspired by the lyric, feathers on my breath, from Massive Attack's "Teardrop". (Hear also the exquisite cover by Jose Gonzales.)

I adore the simplicity of the line work and negative space in this. Great facial expressions, too.
You were right to leave it as pencils. It forces the concentration back to expressions.

I was going to say, "your Labyrinth pieces are always amazing," but so is all your art! Not saying it to be a kiss-ass, either; the mood of the setting is very well-reflected in it, and your depiction of the characters is dead-on.
But yeah... Sarah was pretty dumb for being like, "you have no power over me..." Lame!

I think drawing profiles is way easier than other face angles because you're not bound by symmetry. If I flip my drawings around, all the straight-on faces look all funky because they always cant to the right. I have a big fat right lobe. ;D

lol XD I find it so hard to draw profiles, but getting straight-on portraits to look symmetrical is hard, too... Faces at an angle are somewhat easier for me than profiles and straight-on portraits. I need to practice.

Seriously! I can't handle this kind of pressure!! It's a sillyfic! Go read Danse Macabre's 'End of Days' (chapt 24 esp...) or Subtilior or the legendary K.L. Morgan's 'A Forfeit of Dreams' or or or... LOADS of brilliant, epic, angsty romances out there on ff.net, and do fanarts for their beautiful, beautiful writing! Not my overgrown one-shot sillyfic!!
Of course I love this. I'm floored by it. I still can't get over your delicate and incredibly spot-on lines and mad drawing Skillz and the whole composition here is purrrfectly poised between tasteful and *ZOMFG-nosebleed* (ie. the best possible erotica) and he looks so intense and delicious and I swear, I never wrote nor can write anything half so beautiful.
I want him so bad and this is just like the most pwnsome piece of fanservice gorgeous JS artwork EVAH. You have successfully made my head explode.
(And now I am guiltily going to finish the pending chapter in humbled gratitude and feel really inadequate.)

A) Bull. Your writing is chiaroscuro, like your art, and I like it, I prefer it, because it's clever and funny and has flavors of sweetness and guile in among the breathlessness and innuendo and angsty bits. I like that it's silly. Silliness is the last vestige of goodness in this world.
Largely, I like it because I like you, because it belies the kind of person you are, which is also clever and beguiling. You remind me of my favorite friends, and I'd rather draw for and inspire you than for the best writers of Labyrinth fanfic in the world. (Which sounds like my favorite Groucho Marx line, "I'd rather be with the people at this table... than with the finest people in the world." But you know what I mean.)
B) YEEE. *^__^* I told him. I said to Jareth, I said, "Now you listen. This is for Pika. You're going to sit there and I'm going to draw you, and you're not gonna give me any of yer lip, right?" And he was such the gentleman. He was very well-behaved. You got the magic.
C) You are not inadequate. An inadequate writer would have made me go, Shit no, I ain't doing no love scene for this. So go and be inspired. Cause I luh you.
