My wonderful friend HasuHime started writing her own Legion fanfic with the intention, I think, of injecting a sense of hope and optimism into the whole ordeal, and it's been a pleasure to see it growing. There are only a couple chapters of Arms & Armistice so far, but I love and recommend it.There's a scene where Audrey has to help Gabriel take off his armor and such, and it charms me so much, like the mouse pulling the thorn out of the lion's paw. I think of this beautiful tune by Ollabelle;

Just a very small sketch. I promise to do much prettier stuff for this story.

This makes me crumble with longing for romantic feelings. You have a special magic, that you do.
I know Gabriel is supposed to be very tall, and I love how tiny Audrey is compared to him. The tinier ones seem to be the most surprising in strength me thinks.
These are the kinds of feelings I'm going to keep with me when I visit my best friend in Hawaii in June!

I absolutely adore the feeling of this. It's soft and gentle and a little war-torn. I think my favorite part is that flourish in the upper right; I never would have thought to add a touch like that, but it's perfect.
Also, for some bizarre reason, I'm drawn to his hand against the wall. There's a funny amount of emotion in that, like he's yielding to her, bracing himself, and protecting the both of them, all at once.
This movement is so infectious. I've got an urge to write my own Legion bit, now.

I'm so glad you enjoyed them! I'd say just poke around the Legion section on FF.net and you're bound to find more that you like. Oh-- I also recommend Krahkaw's Right In Two -- it's intense and very complex, but just exquisitely written. Also in progress, but worth it to begin.

Haha, what a nice fan-fic. I hope it continues, now I want to read it. I saw the movie, and I felt that what happened to Audrey was kinda...wrong? I mean, they kept her alive, even though she should have died from the start, but then they off her at the end?

Yeah, she was just a loose end. Everybody dies except for our little Mary, Joseph and baby trio, and for what? No reason. Did they want to like, martyr Audrey? Not very effective.
I'm glad all these stories give her a second chance.
