My wonderful friend HasuHime started writing her own Legion fanfic with the intention, I think, of injecting a sense of hope and optimism into the whole ordeal, and it's been a pleasure to see it growing. There are only a couple chapters of Arms & Armistice so far, but I love and recommend it.There's a scene where Audrey has to help Gabriel take off his armor and such, and it charms me so much, like the mouse pulling the thorn out of the lion's paw. I think of this beautiful tune by Ollabelle;

Love thisss. They're such a cute couple and I'm so glad something this wonderful was able to rise up out of the shitfest that was the film Legion. Audrey's hair looks lovely, Gabriel's hot as usual, you're super talented, etc.

I'd say Legend, though I haven't seen many fanworks (besides your wonderful Darkness/Agape art--btw, I love that you have a separate folder for all the tender moments). But yeah, that movie was... *scratches head*... As if Ridley Scott said "I'm going to make a fantasy movie and have all sorts of fantasy things in it like unicorns--cuz chicks love unicorns, right?--and there's a princess, and how 'bout some elves and dwarves, and maybe a giant bog monster lady, and the little fairy girl can secretly make herself tall, and oh let's dump a truckload of glitter on everything (ok, I did like the glitter on Lily and Jack's faces--the girly girl in me was thinking Prettyyy!) and it's all about good vs. evil, and...

Ha! No, I totally agree. Legend was something of a trainwreck, too. Tim Curry, though, he carried that fucking thing. It was the Darkness Show! You just wanted to keep him talking forever.

Oh, you know, despite all these drawings, I could actually take or leave any romance in the movie, but I think better writers could at least make an ounce of sense out of the whole mess, you know? There was some very lame writing.

I like to cheat at feet and encase them in huge boots. That way, I don't have to draw the ankles. The ankles always elude me. XD

I'm loving these drawings, makes me want to finish the rest of Legion. I watched a few minutes at the beginning and thought it was retarded.
It's also inspiring me to make a costume with wings. I've decided upon Nike, the Greek goddess of victory.

That sounds like a bitchin' costume. C: And the movie was pretty bad, but in an enjoyable way. I keep saying, it would've made a good comic book, but it needed so much more to be a decent flick. But if you can get to the second half, it's kind of wonderful in ways.

Ugh, I love it! You've really accentuated their difference in height, which I adore, along with his beautiful, repentant face. He looks like he's thinking, Man, I decked you and tried to wipe out your entire species.. I so don't deserve this.
And I completely forgot about the shinguards, haha. I'll have to go back and add a bit in to fix that.

I am so, so glad you like this! And yeah, this actually started as the key sketch for a bigger drawing, but it got so detailed I just went and worked with it. ;D That ever happen to you? That's why I don't sketch! I definitely want to do something bigger and more careful than this for you.
Psh, don't feel bad. First time I drew Gabriel, I forgot like half his kit. The flick's so dark, you can barely make sense of anything below the knees. I'd be curious to know what his shoe situation is. For now I just stuck him in reef booties, because I think that's hilarious. C:

I always love it when you draw some Audrey and Gabriel not only because its bloody brilliant but because it usually comes with a great fanfiction recommendation. There truly isn't enough great fanfiction in the world. I know because I spend most of my free time looking for some >.< teehee

You have this gift of capturing simple acts of affection. It's so endearing. The feeling is so effortless, which is what makes your scenes (and couples) so believable. It's really easy for sweet scenes to come off as forced-but yours never do.. I love it!
