My wonderful friend HasuHime started writing her own Legion fanfic with the intention, I think, of injecting a sense of hope and optimism into the whole ordeal, and it's been a pleasure to see it growing. There are only a couple chapters of Arms & Armistice so far, but I love and recommend it.There's a scene where Audrey has to help Gabriel take off his armor and such, and it charms me so much, like the mouse pulling the thorn out of the lion's paw. I think of this beautiful tune by Ollabelle;

Just a very small sketch. I promise to do much prettier stuff for this story.

Aww, I will have to check out this piece of work. I take it that it's fairly new. For a sketch it communicates the percieved mood very nicely. Plus, I like the interpretation of the under garment. Although, "under garment" sounds like a silly term to use but I can't think of anything better.

It's hard enough trying to figure out his costume from all the dark shots, you know... There's one or two of Durand on set without the chestplate on, chilling in the tunic and that ruched thing around his middle, but it's still a guessing game.
It is a new story, very... well, I want to say it's lighthearted, but it isn't yet. But I think it will be. Not to put words in anybody's mouth.
So far yours is one of the most complex, heaviest, most intelligent stories not only in this fandom but that I've ever read. I feel like it's a little too smart for me, like I have to run to keep up with it, but I do love it, still. Very much looking forward to more!

True. I tried messing with some screenshots' lighting for reference, but even then it's pretty difficult. I sigh, because there is nothing content wise for the angels in behind the scenes. I'd like to have seen the concept art.
Since I'm home now, I'll get to reading it. I trust your word when it comes to fiction.
I'm writing Audrey's bit still, and she's a bagful of sunshine compared to the boys. But I really appreciate your feedback and admittedly always look forward to it. It's encouraging and keeps me mindful about balance! C:

You know what's funny, is I totally rolled my eyes when I first went looking for Legion fic and saw all the Gabriel/Audrey stuff. I was like, come on guys, they barely interacted. Are we just looking for the most obnoxious teenage girl to stick him with? But after reading, I saw her value. I was an obnoxious teenage girl myself once. C:

At least Audrey's character seemed to develop for the better... you know, before the writers killed her off.

Lady, you're killin' me over here with all this Gabriel/Audrey sweetness. I want to finish mine so bad!! I really love the simplicity of this one....for some reason I really like how Audrey's head is bent while she's fixing him up. (Also Imma steal some of these lovely brushes, look how intricate!)

I've never heard of Legion (let alone fanfic for it), but the character's seem interesting just from the sketch.
