Version française ici les amis :So, this is my opinion about the different nibs we can use with the Wacom Intuos products (and maybe more, see compatibilities)
When I had to choose which nib I wanted to use, I found NOTHING about them on the internet (is this even possible ?)
So as I had to try out and make my own observations, now I share them.

I've got a OSU Drawing Tablet XP-Pen Star G430 ( www.xp-pen.com/product/46.html ) . It's admittedly an older model, but it does everything I need it to do so I haven't needed to update. It may have had light use the last year or so but it had pretty heavy use for several years. I've still got all the replacement nibs somewhere, but it's all boxed up so I can't compare. Maybe when I find them next I'll take a look and see how different they actually are. Maybe I'm just wearing mine down evenly somehow.

I do think so. just check if the nibs you have are the same shape and size before you buy new ones ^^

i tried that with a thin piece of paper, but with mine the sensibility wasn't as good :/ but if it works it's certaintly the cheaper solution if you don't want a special nib ^^

yeah, it seems that the old ones were more resistant, my first one was okay too (maybe the nib wasn't the same too)

I have a very old tablet and I've been using the homemade nibs for two years so it doesn't hurt the tablet.

i have really no idea for this :/ i don't think so though, they probably don't want us to buy nibs in another's label if we can buy to them ^^

yeah xD, it's just annoying, i bought my tablet from Canada and i live in DK so.. major tax
and i didn't buy pen nibs <.< stupid me, now i need new, but i dunno where to get any because it seems i can only buy them from canada
