It is a multi-purpose wire. 6 strand galvanized utility wire to be specific. Great to separate thinner strands for limbs or wings from one wire. Great to pose to, not too stiff!

I used to use aluminum "armature" wire was double the price and would collapse often under the weight of clay, which wouldn't be much. Cause of that would often snap after awhile if I didn't re-enforce it.
