30 x 40 OilThis has been in the works since May. Took my time on it while doing other paintings. The background is a partial image of an astrolabe. That and the Pocket watch parts floating in the forground symbolize time ticking away. I think I had a dream of this painting because all the critters in there I have painted before wanted to be painted again. So they are waiting; In Line.

Ahhh, I had one for 7 years. She has a frog statue in my garden where I buried her. I don't know how old she was when I got her. They are so beautiful. Thanks for writing.

I saw the original of this in a gallery in La Jolla... I didn't realize you lived in the San Diego area.
If I could afford it, I would have bought it on the spot. It is truely beautiful, and I hope it will hang in my home one day.

Oh Wow! That made me smile. Long story, it was a commission job, and probably sold. The woman is a world travler and has many houses. She bought two of my paintings before, and I am just waiting for her to get back into town, whenever that may be, to see it. I am kind of surprised that the gallery hung it out. Good to know.
