30 x 40 OilThis has been in the works since May. Took my time on it while doing other paintings. The background is a partial image of an astrolabe. That and the Pocket watch parts floating in the forground symbolize time ticking away. I think I had a dream of this painting because all the critters in there I have painted before wanted to be painted again. So they are waiting; In Line.

I just came back home. I backpacked through the north of Argentina, a few places in Bolivia, and finally arrived to Cuzco, in Peru, where I was going to stay for less than a week but fell for its magic and stayed for a month. I've been to Machu Picchu too... so many magical places around Cuzco... I wish I stayed longer to know more about their fabulous miths and legends. You should go there too, I bet you'd fall for the Cusquian School paintings... so much baroque mixed up with indian style, stunning!! You'd love it there.

Oh, man, that sounds so wonderful! YES, I would love to do that. And Machu Picchu! I always wanted to go there since I was little. I read a book about some lamas there. Stuck with me. I am so happy for you!

uuuuuuuuuh i'd love to see you painting lamas! they're so adorable. they are very sensual aswell, they have a hidden charm with their long necks and their walk, that is similar to cats. I hope you go to Machu Picchu, you'll love it there.!

When I saw the pig toward the end and the small thing at the front of the line, my first thought was that this was the Chinese zodiac, but I realized half a second later that of course it wasn't.
Very impressive! You did a wonderful job with so many different creatures!
