Description
Just a little visual guide... Hope it helps. Please let me know if I can improve it.Added tips suggested by *DimensionSeven and !WoofCurse :
The border you might choose to add with the 'scale' slider should be at least as big as the bleeding edges, to prevent unwanted cropping in the print lab.
And to remove prints from your shop:
Navigate to your print shop,
click on any print,
on the left are icons that give you different options:
"View Deviation"
"Add to Wishlist"
"(Your link)"
"Edit Print" - and the one we want this time:
"Manage Prints"
Click this option and it takes you to a page full of choices to manage your print shop. The link you'll want now is "Your Products" (you'll see in it's description that this is where you can disable a print)
Once you've clicked this link you'll see first a list of your Active Prints, and below a list of your Inactive Prints, followed by a list of your Recently Rejected Prints if you've had any that didn't meet quality standards.
Find the print(s) you want to remove, in your Active Prints list, check the box next to it's(their) title(s), and simply click the button at the bottom of the Active Prints list to deactivate it.
As far as I know, you do not have the ability to remove (delete) a print. Once you've de-activated a print it will always remain in your inactive prints list, even if you remove the original deviation.
Thank you for the feature `ginkgografix , I am SO honored!
I've been unable to get online much lately, but I wanted to let everyone know I am EXTREMELY grateful, and I WILL get busy responding to my comments and questions as soon as my body lets me spend more than a few moments on here at a time once again.
Because, with my injury, there's NO way I can ever catch up with all of the "thanks yous", I'll have to say it here:

That would involve telling people how to write the perfect resume, how to kiss just enough ass in an interview (and how to approach people in order to get an interview in the first place), how to be a competent worker, how to manage a budget, etc, haha.

When I see some tutorials and DDs, I start thinking that staff thinks people on dA are pretty stupid... o_x

Thanks for your comment, but I think you're taking your computer literacy for granted.
I know MANY extremely intelligent people who have a tough time navigating the internet. This was written specifically for a friend who is a pretty smart fellow, but was just confused by this process.

Most of the time it's the gallery mods, not the general userbase.

You'd be really surprised by what people here don't know. They aren't stupid; they're just not aware of a lot of functions, options, and other settings. Tutorials like this, while simple, help bring awareness of those things.

Ok i missed that one word, but then again: Why do we think that people are stupid?

I don't know why YOU THINK - but there are many tutorials which are awarded and which are not helpful, because they teach nothing, what we couldn't learn by our own - they just SHOW that there's this and this option; in something easy, where you don't really need tips. Everything you need is just trying it out by your own, it's not as hard. I'll wait for the next tutorial: "how to write good phrase into searchbar to find this, what you'd like to find" or "how to use helpdesk to find the answer you'd like to find"... ;___;

I understand where you are coming from, but you have to keep in mind that there are a lot of people that don't understand english very well or that are afraid of doing something wrong and get lost while submittion a deviation or print, because they are doing it for the first time.
So even if those things mentioned in tutorials seem to be simple for you, it might be very helpful for other people. I am a deviant for 5 years already and just submitted my first print last month. I needed 5 tries and the help of a friend to finally finish the process. Imo every tutorial is helpful. Maybe not for everyone, which happens due to the different level of knowledge people have, but it surely has a reason to be there.
And those things you mentioned as example can confuse people who are new to deviantART or the web in general as well, so such tutorials could be helpful as well

If you ignore the Show approximate bleed checkbox, you'll get wrongly cropped products. I've learned it the hard way with my own prints. The idea of this tutorial is nice, but it's misleading.

That's a very good point - how do you think I should address it to improve the tutorial? I've never experienced trouble with it myself.

Have you ordered yor own prints? I do this sometimes (calendars mostly) and the borders of the non-calendar shots were cut. dA has print templates too btw to prevent this issue (too bad I've learned about them too late).
As for the tutorial: I'd add that the border added with the 'scale' slider should be at least as big as the bleedig edges to prevent unwanted cropping in the print lab.

Excellent! I'll add that advice to my tutorial - with credit to you.
I have ordered a couple of my prints, as gifts to family, but I think I've always had enough of a border to avoid problems with the bleed edge, or the photos had enough room for error around the subject, that it went unnoticed.
