I did this back in grade 12 art class, which would be...2004 maybe? Once you leave high-school it feels like it was ages ago when you once attended. I've only been out for like..2 years maybe.
Anyways! This started out with only an acrylic paint medium but eventually I started doing details in pencil crayons, markers and stuff. It wasn't completely free-hand either, there was a tracing projector offered in my class as drawing assistance for pastel and paint work and I used it to get the positioning right, as this is not an original drawing of Scar. This pose is a copy of the official Scar character sculpture made for the movie, it's absolutely gorgeous. So I copied that and basically just brought it to life with the background, colour and details.

It's not very tidy and I apologize for the crinkled paper marks, it's too large to scan (poster sized) so I had to photograph it.
