This painting was painted in oils on a 20x34 inch canvas that I inherited from grandfather after he passed away.

I had a dream that looked a lot like this a long time ago and started the painting, but it sat on a shelf unfinished until this year. I posted the progress on Facebook as I often do. If you would like to see the process through each painting session, you can see it on my FB fan page here:

I am hoping to bring the original to the Dragon Con Art Show 2010. It is far more impressive in person.
