He looks so sad ... but, most of the horses I've been with have looked sad too ... Or angry. Somehow, horses have captured those two emotions wonderfully. And pride. That too.

I've seen happy horses, but then I spent time on a ranch and have seen them do some pretty hilarious things... like limbo out of a stall. I suppose having to carry the burdens of others or having had their spirit broken (dead broke), well that would make anyone sad.

haha, yeah - some places are real cruel to the horses, even kicking them in the side while riding ... like, I used to be a horse-'wrangler' and I understand it, but it is unecessary with a properly trained horse. Hah, though properly-trained horses can be a bit fiesty. *winces*

He is beautiful. I love the wind in the picture. It is very evident throught the motion of his mane. Lovely indeed
