And here's my craptastic 2nd mockup of Midna's cloak.
I'm actually happy with the skirt, but the cloak is still giving me trouble. Also, I made this way before Viveeh posted her pattern for Midna's cloak, so I'm gonna try her technique next.

Ok, so here's the specs for this pic; the arms are just some armwarmers I threw on to complete the look, the black body thingy is still being worked on(I might have to end up glueing it to my bod, lol), and the crappy cloak is now gonna be scrapped.
I still do not have anything done on the accessories, nor do I have a final mockup for the cloak. But, I've decided to go a different way with the designs on the fabric, and it's SUPER SEEEEECREEETTTTT!
And, it won't cost me an arm and a leg, lol.Anyways, just thought I'd post something now that I have the wig, and I hope you all enjoy!

If ya need to glue it, a friend of mine said that eyelash glue works nice XD Easier to manage than spirit gum. Buy yay, Midna~ Can't wait to see this completed.

Wow, this project has been getting better everytime you post more progress on it. Plus I'm amazed at how you're getting the skin designs to work, I imagined it to be tricky! 
Plus I'm excited to see your SUPER SECRET cloak idea. It's great to hear that you'll be able to save some bucks on it. Good luck with the rest of the costume!

cloaks own but they seem 2 be giving u a heck of a lot of trouble. cloaks must not like u very much. have u tried being nicer to them? xD

It's not that, it's just that it's a cloak made for a game character, so the logic behind the design is not very realistic.
