There was a vibe that the law enforcement presence gave out that was by my observation, omnipresent. The number of law enforcement officers through-out the city of St. Paul from different agencies were staggering. I played football including 2 years in college. There was a feeling associated with that that I loved before game time. Getting dressed for battle and being on the field came with heightened feelings of anxt and excitement. I saw those feelings among the officers dressed for battle in their riot gear. Standing in the streets or at their respective posts, it was obvious this was their battlefield. Only without the positivity. Sadly, I got he impression like they wanted to play. That is why I call them jerkoffs. They were not officers of the law, they were dressed-up walking erections.
