stressedreferenced from a client supplied image.
This was a paid illustration for a medical conference booklet, dealing with stress and stress managment. After a few days work, an agent for the client rang me up and informed me that the job had fallen through. Such is the joy of freelancing :/
I doubt I'll finish this.

Argh! You can just FEEL the pain...and no doubt it must have felt slightly the same after it fell-through for you. It is a great piece of work in any case. Amazing mark-making and wonderful detail, even if it isn't finished.

Ha! That's the ref image. I've got it as a big A3 glossy print in my folders. 
God, that was such a bitch to translate into pencil. It's so shadowy and textured, I couldn't get half it right.
