Page two [link]My first comic. I have no idea what I am doing but I certainly had fun. Thanks to for suggesting this and I hope you approve of my use of BAMPH.
Azula and Zuko have come to an impasse; no way to go forward without this pivotal moment.
One last crushing blow.
But who will stand victorious when the ashes fall like be-arrowed lookouts from a enemy guard tower, and the blaze of hopes and dreams caught in the whirlwind of ambition's furnace rises like a volcano screaming fiery vomit towards the sun, incinerating cloud and rain, shattering the pull of the earth and filling the cosmos with the festering heat of one last round?

Wah, thank you so much! I worry sometimes that Mai isn't immediately recognizable because he hair is a large part of her visual personality, so when I change it I'm not certain people will know it's her.

I know what you mean, but I think if you get her demeanor and her face-shape (xD) right, then the hair doesn't matter much.

She has in my canon. As of the end of the series we don't know anything definite about her fate. See my other picture Azula Saved for more details on what I think happened after the war.

It's a competition, just a show off thing they do at holiday gatherings. Zuko did learn lightning and I WILL SHOW YOU!

Ooh, lovely action shot! I like the touch of fire literally burning in Zuko's eyes.
I suspect that Mai is leaving and won't be returning until her husband and her best friend remember that they are adults and are not allowed to solve their problems by squabbling like toddlers.
It's difficult to tell - Is Azula doing an Iroh and absorbing Zuko's attack?

Shoot, that frame is kind of confusing, I think I might end up coloring at least the fire so you can tell, also a dark bar between them blasting would probably help...shucks.
This is the 25th time they've had this competition and Zuko was going for the tie-breaker. His firebending is technically more powerful and dynamic that Azula, but she is just far too smart for him, and I'm pretty sure she let him win. And by pretty sure I mean she did, because I made the whole thing up and I say so.
