I think your manga version of Retroactive is AWESOME and I am glad that you found the time and inspiration to bring it to life. I think the way you ended the page is fitting; chilling and horrifying. And I agree with the dream discussion, too. I hope you find the time to make another contribution, no matter how short.

Really nice pacing. Loopy's style builds well, and it feels like your style is a good visual fit. I really like how you left Azula's words up to the imagination, as well as the ending. Very good idea to do this, and it seems very successful.

I tried to keep to the original as much as possible; Suki didn't actually reveal any of Azula's threats, so I decided not to, either. I'm glad you enjoyed it

Ooh, nice job depicting the dream while leaving Suki's narration to convey what Azula was saying. When I wrote that part, I deliberately had Suki just summarize those threats partially to keep the rating at the Teen level, but also because my own experience with dreams leaves me unable to remember the exact dialogue that happened within them. Perhaps Suki's dream didn't even have Azula really speaking, and Suki merely filled in the threats with her own "narrative" dreaming powers.
Nice choice at where to end the comic, and the how. It's very dramatic, and the sight of the burning hand leaping right at the "camera" while the narration fulfills the threat makes for a heavy impact. I kind of wish I had put the same level of impact into that line of dialogue in the original story.
All in all, this was a great adaptation. I seriously wouldn't expect even a pro to better. I'm over the moon after reading these pages. Thanks so much for thrilling me like this!

I noticed that about the story, that the threats were deliberately vague; I debated putting words there and leaving the narration out, but then I decided to go with the way you had it, and to leave the specifics up to the imagination. Now that you mention it, yeah, dreams are fuzzy for me, too when it comes to specifics.
When I made the comic, I had intended to make more, but it was very difficult for me to draw, so I decided to end it halfway through the prologue before I bit off more than I could chew. For me, that line really stuck out the first time I read it, so I decided it would be a good place to leave off.
