Description
Color version. Sadly Katara got the least amount of love in this colored version. My pinkie really starts to kill after an hour or two when I use this wacky wacom.I've started thinking about what would happen to Azula after the war was over.
Here we have Aang spirit-bending and Katara using advanced healing abilities to heal Azula's mind. Having spent years in recuperation and rehabilitation she has reached a point where she is not powerful enough to progress on her own.

Ty Lee--Hurried from the field on assignment. Yes her braid is gone, her hair is up because that's what married ladies do yo yo yo.
Zuko--Concerned for his sister, dubious about the process. Worrywort Lord.
Mai--Thinking about the prospect of bringing Azula home with little Lu Ten due any time now.
Toph--Listening with earth-bending to Azula's heartbeat and breathing, making sure everything stays copacetic.
Suki--Trying to bring Sokka around to the idea of even trying to help Azula.
Sokka--Grudge holder. Dubious about the prudence of the whole affair. Lame Sokka, lame.

You say that Azula had reached a point where she couldn't get any further on her own. Does that mean that she still has hallucinations? Has she expressed remorse at this point? (I know, silly!)
Azula: If you can't save all of me, just let me die.

This could be a concept art for a future Legend of Korra episode taking place 15 years after the war as there were flashbacks dating 10 years after the war in the fourth episode.

I imagine that taking away bending is not the only purpose to which one can put spirit bending. The idea was that he'd use it to try to heal her broken brain.

I love this, funny how I find this now, and it's roughly the same message as my new fanfic: most people wanting to help, and Sokka being all "WHAT? No Way!!" 
Great drawing and coloring in my eyes. Sure, there are things to nitpick about, but I look at the general message more.

I'd kinda like to make a fanfic about Azula recuperating but it may not fit with my plot (for example; azula killed Suki the day they found the kyoshi warriors, so a few months later Ty Lee ran off to join the Gaang along with Mai. I have a lot more examples, but you'd have to read my fanfics 2 know it all

what I thought was the prison guards telling Zuko that prison lately, Azula hasn't been eating and keeps saying things like 'I killed her' or 'It's all my fault' and keeps apologizing.

I personally like how you used the airbender tattoos from the movie instead of the ones from the cartoon for Aang. I'm a sucker for ornate details, so I'm impressed to see someone putting that detail into their work instead of a usual solid blue tattoos.

Well that's an interesting perspective you have there. I personally think that a solid blue arrow is fine for a cell shaded cartoon but a rather goofy looking actual tattoo.
I'm curious what an alays dose is but I assume that in the unbridled passion of the moment you considered the quality of your thoughts more important than the form they took.
Either way I can't imagine why I should care whether or not you like the tattoo design I chose.
I can tell you that from perusing your gallery and profile that I have absolutely no desire to have someone of your taste level appreciate or agree with my work anyway.
