Description
[UPDATE]Updated the image (better quality/larger file) and it is now available as a print!
---------------------------------
I went to my local zoo and took a bunch of reference photos for this picture. It's one of the first serious drawings that I've been able to use my own good references for. This image was taken in part from at least 3-4 different photos of the wolves, who were simply wonderful to sit and observe.

You're lucky to have a local zoo. I think the nearest one to me is in Chester (a good few miles away. Good job I had a book to read on the train.)
You certianly did these noble creatures justice

There's 3 or 4 zoos around here that are good driving distance for a day's worth of entertainment, but this one i got from the smallest one which is only about 15 minutes drive from my house

This is a really beautiful piece. You manage your lighting and tones really well. The highlights in the wolvesβ fur are well defined. Your attention to detail should also be commended, the wolvesβ eyes come across as really sad and you captured this really well. Excellent job overall! Sorry I canβt provide any critique for this piece because I canβt see anything wrong with it.

Nowadays, I'd have to say that these are a major inspiration for Lykosians from "Star of Lunaris", including Carlos.
