So far I am having a blast!

I will be giving dirk hopefully as much rump as you gave the green one ;3 it's like perfectly shaped!

I only got to making his body and half of his nose last night (because this is all being handstitched and I have/had divided his body up to correspond as close as i could to dirks color scheme)

holy crap, that's awesome!! i soooo wish i could see it finished! stuff his rump well, then do the gather loops to give him more defined "cheeks", then stuff each cheek with more stuffing and really sculpt that PLUSH RUMP! hahaha good luck and enjoy!

his rump isn't coming out too well ;n;

should i stuff it partially THEN do the string to make it plush? or should i unstuff it and do the string? I tried stuffing it then doing the string but then the string either snaps while i pull it or it doesn't stay taught and loosens (after i tie it off and stuff or during)

maybe i should ask for assistance with hold the string tight while i tie it off?

first, slightly stuff the rump and body, only to the base of the neck. second, use at least 2 pieces of thread knotted at the ends (it should be 4-ply thick) when you do the big "cheek" gathering loops. do the big loop at least twice pulling a little tighter each time, then securely knot on the bottom, and yes, if you're having trouble have someone help hold it while you knot it. now you can add more stuffing to each cheek, sculpting them very round. when you're satisfied with the rump finish stuffing the rest of the body and finish working your way out the neck. good luck!!!! i hope this helps!!

oh good! i'm glad it helped. i was like 'grrrrrrrrrrr, i wish i could be there to help!!!' i didn't want you to get frustrated. sometimes walking away for a bit helps. hey, you could try doing one loop, pull, knot it, then make another loop, pull it a little tighter and knot it, and so on til you're happy with it. also, it's going to look a little flat til you go in and add the extra stuffing. then it will really start to take shape and look better. and sure, hit me up with what you have in mind. maybe i can help you guys out with your patterns. as long as i have good picture references i should be able to help out

sorry been absent and taking a break from strider rump (thats what i am calling him) until i can see if i can screen print this shirt. it all depends if i can do two shades of orange, if not then ill work on his symbol for his shirt or i might just make a normal one color screen print, not sure.

and i think i might have a pattern for goat dad

haha, not quite yet, my hair isn't a very likable length QUITE yet. I'm wanting to do an aradia or feferi (trickster/normal/human versions)

The screen printing would be for strider rumps shirt ^w^ i have a baby one piece that i am going to trim, hem and then size to fit him ^w^

oooooo who are they going to cosplay?

I will, i will also prolly make a tutorial as well ^w^ (that is a big maybe because my camera isn't the best and blah blah using a cellphone for pictures)

my youngest is 11, she's doing feferi, and my 17 yr old is doing tavros. her 2 friends are doing gamzee and bro. they're all trying to talk me into doing a cosplay this year as well, for youmacon in detroit in nov. i went last year but didn't dress so i just stayed in the hotel room lol
omg a little tiny t-shirt!! how cool! i would love to see it all when you get finished!!

making tutorials is fun that would be great if you did one for goat dad. and i understand, the camera on my cell is CRAP! i had a decent digital camera, luckily. found i liked the pics better when i didn't use a flash, just lit the room up very well. good luck if you do!
