Description
I made this tutorial (3 parts and a pattern) to help you make your own Squiddle plushies. I would consider this an Easy to Intermediate sewing project, and can be done completely by hand if you do not have a sewing machine. Please read all instructions before buying, cutting, or sewing anything. If you make more than one, you can have Tangle Buddies by tangling their legs together, NO MAGNETS REQUIRED! Special thanks to my wonderful daughter [link] , for helping me put this tutorial on hereSquiddles are from Homestuck, a web-comic written by Andrew Hussie and belong to him. This pattern was created by me and is for personal use only.
Here is the pattern [link]

Part 3 [link]
P.S. Thanks for all the love on me receiving a DD for this.. Wow, I'm speechless!!

Oh my god. Thank you soooo much. For this tutorial and all your other homestuck plushies. I have yet to make this one but the instructions are flawless. Also the sewing hints about what stitch to use are very helpful.

I love your patterns and already used the scalemate one to make several Pyralsprites. You're just brilliant, thank you Β so much for making and posting all these. (I'm thinking draw-string squiddle bag with this, so I have something to carry around con while cosplaying Jade. Adapting it won't be a problem with this gorgeous tutorial)Β

I'm pretty sure more people know about them from homestuck than the show, though.Β

Should add some small rare earth magnnets into the bottom of the heads to attract them to each other, and make it easier to keep them tangled together.

Squiddle is a homestuck term. As you can see they are little octopi.

Haha... my mate and I were using Squiddle before Homestuck ever existed. Amuses me that a word we've been saying for over a decade turned up in a popular comic. XD

Congrats on the DD! its a cute, simple pattern, but what I love most about these is it explains alot for the early beginner, in a very adept way, so even the more experienced users are reminded why its done that way.

Can you possibly explain what you did after all the body parts were sewn together? Or if I did something wrong? All 4 parts are sewn together, but it's sorta a rectangular prism, not dome shaped in the least.....
