Any kind of not "lumpy" stuffing should do the trick. I used the stuffing form and old pillow. lol

It's been a long time and you've probably figured out already but I have this! I figured out fiddling with the legs.

I already made one squiddle and I machine sewed everything except the legs to the body. It turned out great, except my fingers are sore from all of the hand sewing. Could you recommend anyway that I could somehow machine attach the legs to the body?

I'm not planning on making a squiddle but thanks for the tutorial anyways. I love how well you showed how you did the stitching its helped immensely with stitching my current plushie together. ^.^

One problem I consistently have is the bottom being too big to properly attach to the top. The sides of the top area are much longer than the smaller circle. Should I just cut it differently, or is there something in particular I'm doing wrong? ono
Otherwise, this guide is amazing omg <3 It makes things so much easier.

I have had this pattern & tutorial sitting on my *to do pile* forever now! I am finally about done with him

Though I am slightly confused on how to close the opening one his head (the X) I tried it on a octo I made earlier in the week and didn't turn out so well.

Can you explain it to me just a little more? I don't understand it too well in the picture? Am I using the ladder stitch basically?

Well, my first little guy is going to look a bit like Nemo. I sewed the seam on one of the legs a bit too big. No first attempt is going to be perfect. Oh well.
