I'm glad he's so cool about it. Shibi is not nearly as much of a hard ass as he comes off as. He's pretty relaxed. This is why he needs more screen time! We hardly know the guy!

I got the feeling from his attire alone he's more relaxed than Shino. I think it just is funny/makes sense for him to be a little 'less serious' than his son who is shown to be SO reserved. *amused laugh*.

I second the more screen time Lets hope they fill in that battle they didn't show in the manga between him / random Aburames aganist Konan! We'll actually get to see him fight! *grin* Well even if not he/the clan are plenty animated in my mind at least. X3

Also, Tao is very proper/polite, Jima is a little 'touchy' / realistic-minded, Shino pretty serious, Genjo is frank, and Kuroji is subdued in actions. But none of them are 'uptight' I'd say. Just people like them make Shibi seem 'relaxed' but to outside eyes he is as 'emotionless' as any Aburame.

Aburames are as they are, having kikaichu does something to your personality / mannerisms.

I remember in your fic, you mentioned how aburame women had easy pregnancies because of their Kikai. I think it balances out your hormones so much that you don't go through all that angst during puberty. Not outwardly so anyway.

True indeed. (How I see it) I figure they would like to try and keep their home as happy as possible, which means a nice neutral chakra environment. Raging hormones screw with your emotions which in turn make your chakra go all over. But kikaichu can only do so much, they can't control them completely.

Some people don't have strongly flavored chakra so they don't need control their emotions as much anyway (Sakuya, Kaho), or their kikaichu have a higher tolerance to it (Yusuro, Shen). I like to think Aburames are just that way anyway, growing up with the insects from a young age so it has shaped their whole lives. So they are not controlling themselves aganist their own nature (they are not suffering / not being themselves).

We'll have to see what happens when Shino his puberty lol
