Ever amaze yourself? Yeah, I think I just kicked it up a couple of notches. This started as a little experiment and it blew up into this. XD Enjoy.100% digitally painted, no over-painting or tracing. PS CS4 + Graphire Wacom tablet Approximately 15 hours

Well this time around I used darker shadows to give it more depth, then I went over it on a new layer and drew in some texture and reduced the opacity. I didn't use a pre-made texture, just scribbles. But it goes a long way. Once I know what I am doing I will make a tutorial. Thanks. XD

Absolutely Stunning Lith!
I'd like to branch out into digital painting myself, but nothing I try every comes close to looking like this! I use CS2. Do you use special brush settings in Photoshop? Even with the soft edge brushes, my lines look to harsh to me.
You just blow me away!

I use the hard round brush to start with, then I use the soft round brush for smoothing and finishing effects. I get rid of the shape dynamics and select the "other dynamics" settings on photoshop. Then the opacity and flow jitter is set to pen pressure. It works much better that way.
