My husband commenting while I was working on the jewelery: "Hey, her necklace isn't connected"Me being smart: "Maybe it's magic..."
My husband: "You mean like how she uses magic to keep her dress on?"
ROFL!!!
This is my tribute to Lulu from FFX, one of my favorite characters from that game. She does look like she's always about to fall out of her dress, especially when she bends over after every battle. O_o

I do agree, it is absolute bogus she can keep that dress on anytime a day... It's a mix between a push-up dress and something so loosely fitted she ought to drop it...Β
I know it is a while ago you posted this piece, but I do have one suggestion. The drawing looks great, but my eye caught something which really bothers me. The entire thing is so neatly detailed and seems to have been drawn thoroughly. Then, all the way out to the right by her dress, it's as if the details kind of... die. I miss the dress hugging her shoulder being smoothed like it has been on the left side. That's all, though xD The rest is gorgeous to say the least.Β

This would have to be the most realistic portrait of Lulu I have ever seen.
Simply astounding beyond words..
.. it would be nice if she looked a little more happy or just simply less mean.. but regardless this is still in a class all by itself!
BTW I did commission an artwork over a month ago starring Lulu.

You MUST tell me how you managed to draw her so damn perfectly, which tools did you use?? especially her skin.. I'm really bad at it!

Sorry I am just getting back to you. I used the hard round brush and soft round brush set to pressure sensitivity with a tablet in photoshop. Paint like you would in real life building up the color.
There is no secret brush or tool when it comes to painting anything- whether skin or what have you. It's more about knowing about how light reacts to the surface you are painting. Realism comes with many hours of drawing from life with traditional medium and in my case an art degree on top of that. Reference helps in most cases especially if you are a beginner. In this case I did use a loose ref which helped me as a starting point to know where the light source is but it is unrecognizable from the source. Hope that helps!

Lulu was my favorite character with fighting, until I discovered how strong yuna and tidus were xD

I was jittery for hours after dodging the lightning... Seriously, I was so stressed. Wakka's was the one I never bothered getting. Blitzball was zero fun for me.
