This is very cool. The Anatomy is perfect and the colors and shadowing are very professionally done. Great job.

I don't believe you when you say that you did this by hand.

Quite a compliment I suppose. Because I think it might interest you, here is a closeup of an early start of the piece and I suppose if you really want it, I could spend a couple of hours and make a nice animation of my original psd file as I try to keep some steps along the way:

Just fyi, I do ALL my art by hand. I have been drawing portraits professionally for years and I have a degree in art (check out my traditional works done without grids or shortcuts back in high school in my gallery). Not everyone out there with decent work is a phony. I think what people find so life like about my digi paintings is the textures I apply at the end. Makes a big difference in the overall look.

It was meant to be a compliment in every way, shape, and form.

Thank you very much. I don't mind answering people's questions and I wasn't sure if you were being inquisitive or not so I thought I would clarify.

I'm not sure if you are saying that to be funny or not, but if you would like an answer you can scroll down and read the other comments. (No, I did not use any celebrity as a ref, I made her up. Only thing I looked at was Melanie Delon's style).

I wasn't trying to be snarky, I seriously think she kinda looks like Megan Fox. Nothing insulting

Lol, you weren't the only one. *Shrugs" I happen to have long dark hair and blue eyes and that comes out in a lot of my work. But absolutely not, this is in no way Megan Fox nor was it ever meant to be.
This was my inspiration- [link] (for mood and contrast, obviously I created my own features).

Very nice! This piece grabs my attention and her eyes are mesmerizing. Sometimes it's a wonder how you paint portraits with this level of precision.
