I just stumbled onto this in my regular-ish search for new Doctor Who art around here. It's great. (Have you considered submitting to Titan Comics, now they have the Doctor Who comics licence and are producing series for various Doctors starting with Ten and Eleven?)

Art - they're the new publishers of licenced Doctor Who comics for the US market, including painted covers as well as sequential art. (The UK still has Doctor Who Magazine and Doctor Who Adventures.)

The expressions are spot on! You made their faces a bit more "classicism" though, but its a nice touch and fits your painting style.

Well Rose is pretty much right on from the screen grab of the Impossible Planet that I used as ref for the face, but the Doctor I did tweak a bit until it felt "right". I didn't want it so realistic that I was bound by the ref photos I had though. Because we have enough fan art of same old same old drawn promotional images. It's nice to break away from that and see something new.
