MAXIMAL SCIENTIST

Poor Rabbitron! She joined the 'Axalon' crew because she didn't want to be in a fight -- she's a scientist, not a soldier. Once her pod crashed to Earth, she was rescued by the Maximals. But after watching her run away from a falling leaf, the others thought of her as a bit of a coward.

At first, the little Maximal refused to fight at all. But after realizing that Megatron didn't care if she was a pacifist or not, Rabbitron rejoined the Maximals. While lacking in physical strength, she has developed a sharp-shooting eye with her EarGun, a weapon she designed herself. In addition, she's second only to Cheetor in land speed. With her small size and fast feet, Rabbitron makes for the perfect spy, able to sneak into places no other Maximal can. That is, if Optimus can convince her she's not going to be eaten by any of the Predacons.

Since combat isn't her forte, Rabbitron has learned to use her scientific skills to help her new friends. She's able to upgrade any weapon, including Sentinal's giant laser canons.

PERSONAL QUOTES

"Great. These Maximals hate me. The only one they hate more is that lizard." [Realizes that Dinobot is right behind her] "Of course, I was refering to Megatron...please don't eat me."

"I detect only a thirty-five percent chance of us surving this attack. May I go back to base now?"

[After being captured by the Predacons] "I'm not scared of you, Megatron! For your information, I graduated summa cum laude from Preceptor University."

"Stop calling me 'Bunnybot'!"

NOTES ON THE ARTWORK

So, this is the first in a series of making Maximals and Predacons out of animals not used in the series.

This is the second version of the drawing. The original, was...how to put it...bad. Bad layout, bad placement of body parts, just bad overall. This second version is so much better, there's little I don't like about it. I was originally going to do more natural colors -- browns and greens and other earth tones. But I decided since a lot of the older female Transformers usually had pink coloring, I'd make Rabbitron a homage to those original Fembots. Plus, the pink goes well with the gray.

I was hopign to teach myself how to really use PaintShopPro with this drawing, but after three hours I gave up. Originally, I was going to have a background with two shades of gray with the binary code, to make it look more 'computer-ish'. But the solid colors without shading works well too.
