Thank you to *cescat for taking this picture with me, it was a simple and clichéd concept, but I really wanted to do it anyway.
But for those who aren’t aware, this is officially my first female cosplay, and offcourse its also my first big poofy dress of doom and magic.
At first I highly doubted that it would all work out, or even that such a cosplay would suit me, honestly I just couldn’t picture myself in a big poofy purple/pink dress, but I was actually pleasantly surprised.
I really love the fabric the most, it caused some trouble, much tears and stress but I think it was all worth it ^^
I actually enjoyed this experience, I will defiantly try to cosplay more female characters in the future...its fun playing the princess hohoho~
But anyway, thank you to the epic smexy PH group at Wai-Con 2010, everyone was great and so blindingly epic in so many way, it was so much fun hanging with everyone <3 <3 <3
And a big thank you goes to ~hiyuki for lending me her Sharon wig after I went into a panic fit upon realizing the wig i ordered wouldn’t arrive in on time.
And singing off, the only thing left for this little princess to say is
“kneel before me and beg you pigs~” (jk jk xpp)

I was only up to chapter 5 of pandora hearts the other day, and now i've almost caught up. BECAUSE OF YOU GUISE. DAYUM. I must say, it gets better after the first 5.

Which reminds me, one day, i'm coming to one of your photoshoots, and i'ma just watch the entire process. I'm trying to get more involved with the whole community thing. No, you don't get a choice.

I just went through a phase of tomboyism, and i've finally dropped it. Effort.
I've also got plans to be a woman-SAMA, gotta try some new roles appart from the emo males, i think, though i've developed quite the posture, slouching all the time.

And as for the photoshoot, there actually something I don’t have much experience in, I am only now starting to learn how to control myself in a photoshoot, and I still need a bit of instruction from others... its thanks to everyone in this group that the photo turned out as well as it did.
But yeah, I usually go for male cosplays too, but it was fun cosplaying as a girl ^^

Honestly, I think whatever element of cliche there is in the concept is totally blown away by how well it works here. This is everything I love about these characters in the manga *cry* Break looks so sad! And...and...*flails uncontrollably*

The fabric is uber love, so hard to find to, i was lucky to have stumbled across the lace, so yeah the two lots of fabric are actually separate and just sewn together... it doesn’t look like it, but i went through around 20 metre’s of fabric on that dress *_*
But srsly, thank you, it’s reassuring to know someone doesn’t think the concept is cheesy and that the photo works well, it’s a shot I really wanted to get because of the background between not only Sharon and Break but also Shelly, so to hear it works well makes me happy ^^
Originally I wanted to get the picture under a tree in a garden, like the flashbacks of Break resting in Shelly’s lap, but we couldn’t find a location like that, but I think the wall with the vines and ivy works better for Break and Sharon, and it defines it away from Shelly, making a defined difference between the relationship between BreakXShelly and BreakXSharon
