To put it bluntly...this is defiantly the most uhhh...interesting character I have ever cosplayed

Seriously there is just no other way to put it.

Cloud Of Darkness (who from this point on will be referred to as COD) has so many little quirks to its character, first of all the fact that COD is described as a genderless entity...despite looking the way it does.
Haha so basically that means I can’t add COD to my list of female cosplays xpp

Then there is also the fact that it never refers to itself as one person, it is always “us” or “we” due to the fact of the two tentacle monsters attached to her having their own personalities while still being part of her.

But all in all I had fun with this cosplay, it was rather easy to make, but I will admit that if given the chance to make it again I would make it in a completely different way (most likely) probably using different fabric and a different method. Although the lycra did work rather well.
Basically the main thing I would change about the creation process no matter what, if given the chance...would to actually have my overlocker with me while making it.
Haha it’s kinda sad how my ability rests so heavily on my dependence on my poor overworked overlocker xpp

And although this costume is “quite” revealing, once I had gotten over my nerves it didn’t bother me much, basically it’s just like a swim suit, really it’s no more revealing that most swim suits.
Although if anyone looks at reference pictures and knows COD well they will notice I made quite a few alteration in order to make this costume more modest...but I think that’s quite understandable ^^

But anyway, this costume was worn as part of the epic Dissidia group for Wai-Con 2010, the rest of the group will be listed below, but we also won best group on the Sunday competition >w<
Everyone was great, so many stunning cosplays.

In all honesty though, the best part of wearing and making this cosplay would need to be Om and Nom (the tentacle monsters), it was fun making them, and the amount of people that came up and said that they were cute in a creepy was epic... lol they actually got groped and hugged me than me xpp

To *Tsubaki-chan and ~Intricatia for helping me in so many ways, from helping me glue my costume back on whenever a piece became loose, connecting Om and Nom back onto my fingers every time they decided to be disobedient and try to run away from me, too helping me get in and out of those terrible 7inch high heels
